OSHA Compliant "DANGER" Signs

When workplace hazards pose an immediate threat to life or health, OSHA regulations require specific signage. Our Danger Signs feature the standard Red, Black, and White header mandated by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.145. These signs are reserved for the most extreme situations where special precautions are necessary.

Why Choose Heavy-Duty Plastic?

We exclusively manufacture our safety signs using Heavy-Duty Polyethylene. Unlike metal signs that can rust or become sharp hazards themselves, or stickers that peel over time, our plastic signs offer the perfect balance of durability and safety.

  • Rust Proof: Ideal for damp locations, wash-down areas, or outdoor fence mounting.
  • Impact Resistant: The .055" thick polyethylene flexes rather than bending permanently or shattering.
  • Fade Resistant: Printed with UV-stabilized inks to ensure the "DANGER" header remains red and visible.
  • Easy Installation: Comes with pre-drilled mounting holes and rounded corners for safe handling.

"DANGER" vs. "WARNING" vs. "CAUTION"

Under OSHA guidelines, the signal word "DANGER" has a very specific meaning compared to other headers:

  • DANGER (Red): Indicates an immediate hazard which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury. (e.g., High Voltage, Acid, Explosives).
  • WARNING (Orange): Indicates a hazard which could result in death or serious injury.
  • CAUTION (Yellow): Indicates a hazard which may result in minor or moderate injury.
