SHIPPING POLICY

Our proprietary freight rating system automatically calculates the most cost effective method to ship your order, either a small package carrier like UPS or an LTL “Less Than Truckload” carrier like ABF. Unless the customer requests otherwise, The Traffic Safety Store ships using the least expensive method possible ‘prepaid’ and simply adds the shipping charge to the customer’s invoice or credit card charge.

TRUCK DELIVERIES

Standard LTL trucking terms and conditions are as follows:

1. Delivery to “Tail End” of the Truck - the truck driver is obligated to deliver the shipment to the back of his or her truck. This means that the customer is responsible for having either a loading dock or a fork lift to use to get the shipment off the back of the truck and into their building.
2. Commercial address - if your shipment is to a residential address, please indicate that when ordering and our system will automatically add the surcharge for deliveries to a Residential Address. If a shipment is calculated to a Commercial Address and the delivery company later determines that was in fact a Residential Address, the customer hereby authorizes The Traffic Safety Store to charge the customer for this Residential Delivery Surcharge.
3. Someone must be present to sign for your shipment (No exceptions) - So either:
   1. plan accordingly to ensure that someone will be at your delivery address to receive your shipment
   2. when ordering, be sure to specify when someone will not be there (i.e. “No Receiving Hours on Mondays” or “Closed the Monday after the Fourth of July Weekend”).

RETURNS

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from The Traffic Safety Store. Most returnable items may be returned within 45 days of the date you receive your order, subject to the conditions below.

Returnable Items

Eligible items may be returned for a refund of the purchase price, less the original shipping charges incurred to ship the order from The Traffic Safety Store to the customer.

Some products may also be subject to a restocking fee. Restocking fees vary by product and manufacturer and, when applicable, will be deducted from the amount of the refund. Please contact us before returning an item to confirm whether a restocking fee applies.

To request a return, please call 1-800-429-9030 to obtain a Return Authorization Number and the appropriate address for your return.

All returned merchandise must be:

• In new and unused condition
• Free from damage, wear, installation marks, or other signs of use
• Returned within 45 days of receipt
• Shipped to the return address provided by The Traffic Safety Store

Products that have been installed, used, or otherwise placed into service are not eligible for a refund.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain products are not returnable because of their customized nature, size, or other product-specific considerations. These include:

Traffic cones with custom stenciling or lettering

• Safety vests with custom lettering or logos
• Custom signs
• Water-filled barricades
• Any item with custom stenciling, logos, or lettering

Please confirm that these products are suitable for your application before placing your order.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping returnable merchandise back to The Traffic Safety Store.

Returned products must arrive in new, unused, and resalable condition. We recommend packaging returns carefully to prevent damage during shipment.

Refunds

Once an eligible return has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued for the eligible merchandise, less any applicable restocking fee. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
