### Remcon GuardSafe® 42 Jersey Style Water-Filled Barrier

The **Remcon GuardSafe® 42 (GS42)** is a heavy-duty Longitudinal Channelizing Device (LCD) designed for superior traffic and pedestrian control. Manufactured from rotationally-molded polyethylene, this barrier is engineered to withstand harsh weather conditions while resisting dents and cracks.

Unlike traditional concrete K-rails, these plastic water-filled barriers are designed to absorb energy during impact, making them safer for motorists and work crews. The unit features a molded-in tongue and groove connection system, allowing for quick installation with minimal hardware.

#### **Key Features & Benefits:**

- **High Stability:** Weighs approximately **100 lbs empty** for easy transport, but increases to approx. **1,655 lbs** when filled with water.
- **Flexible Configuration:** The interlocking design allows connected units to pivot, forming continuous lines or curves angled up to **15 degrees**.
- **Easy Handling:** Features molded-in recessed handles and **forklift access holes** for easy positioning.
- **Visibility:** Available in Hi-Viz Safety Orange or White. Each unit includes two molded-in pockets to accept standard blinking barricade lights.
